The founder

I didn't enter this as a business. It's in my DNA.

For over three decades, food and hospitality haven't been my career — they've been the thing I'm made of. And for the last fifteen years I've spent that life on one idea: that no good food should go to waste while a single person goes hungry.

I've saved food, fed people and protected the planet — through London's Community Kitchen and everything around it — long before it was fashionable. LDN SIP is that same work, poured into a carton.

This isn't a water brand with a cause bolted on. It's my life's work, made drinkable. You drink. They eat. That's the whole point.

The operation behind every SIP

The largest single-day food operation in the Western world.

Every SIP funds a machine that already works. During COVID, London's Community Kitchen scaled overnight to feed thousands — a queue that stretched four kilometres at Wembley. CNN and Reuters called it “the largest single-day food operation in the Western world.”

Built for the organisations London runs on — corporate HQs, stadia & arenas, airports & travel, hospitality groups, universities and the public sector.

A model built to travel

A solution for every city on the planet.

The model is universal — a city, a kitchen, and someone who needs a meal. That exists everywhere. So SIP, the Social Impact Product™, scales city by city, each edition with its own local heart. We start where it means the most: London, our founder's home town — Edition №01. Manchester is next — then the USA and the UAE, and one city at a time, the world.

Evidence & sources

Every claim, sourced — because someone sharp will check.

In 2018 the ASA banned a carton-water brand's advert for unsubstantiated sustainability and plastic-leaching claims. LDN SIP holds a higher line: every figure below is tied to a named, checkable source, and the health angle stays strictly to reduced exposure — never a medical claim.

1 SIP = 1 meal

A self-imposed one-for-one commitment. One meal = 420g, the recognised food-redistribution standard, delivered through London's Community Kitchen.

Carbon avoided

Based on a food-rescue carbon factor (~2.5kg CO₂e per kg of food, WRAP-aligned). We claim no packaging-carbon advantage — packaging life-cycle comparisons are contested and avoided.

London's Community Kitchen operating data

Important. Impact figures shown are indicative and are verified against London's Community Kitchen operating data before any external, marketing or contractual use. LDN SIP makes no medical, health or disease claims; references to microplastics describe potential reduced exposure only. Packaging life-cycle comparisons between materials are contested and are not relied upon. Flavour and mocktail products, and city editions beyond London, are in development and not yet available for sale. Carton composition figures reflect our supplier's published specification and are to be confirmed against the final production spec. "Social Impact Product" and the SIP city-editions system are subject to trademark clearance.
